Christine R. Shiebler concentrates her practice in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Estate Tax Planning, Probate and Estate Administration, Trusts and Trust Administration, Estate Litigation, and Guardianship.
Ms. Shiebler is a member of the Elder Law Section and Trusts and Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Elder Law and Estate Planning Committee and the Surrogate’s Court Committee of the Suffolk County Bar Association. She is a former co-chair of the Surrogate’s Court Committee. She currently serves on the Executive Board of the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association and is a member of the Suffolk County Office For the Aging Senior Citizen Advisory Board. She has served as a Court appointed Guardian ad Litem for many years in the Suffolk County Surrogate’s Court.
Additionally, Ms. Shiebler has taught Continuing Legal Education classes in Trusts and Estates for the Suffolk Academy of Law and the National Business Institute. She has also lectured on Elder Law topics at St. Joseph’s College.
Ms. Shiebler is a graduate of Boston University School of Law. She received her BA from Colgate University where she studied for a semester in China.
Ms. Shiebler is admitted to practice in New York State and the State of New Jersey.
